Georgia Fields – QMF 2026 Application

Singer-songwriter Georgia Fields conjures a mesmerising spell of art-pop alchemy in her dynamic live show.

The sonic shapeshifter blends electric guitar and mini-synth with live-looped percussion, beatboxing, samples, and vocal harmonies to create complex arrangements in real time. As Frankie Magazine says: “she paints entire worlds with her tunes”.

Across her two-decade career she has performed on some of the country’s most esteemed stages: Hamer Hall, Festival Hall, Woodford Folk Festival, Melbourne Recital Centre, The Corner Hotel, and Brisbane Powerhouse. She has released three albums and two EPs, toured nationally, and shared stages with artists such as Katie Noonan, Pierce Brothers, Didirri, Clare Bowditch, Mia Dyson, Frente, and Ella Hooper.

Georgia’s most recent single Chameleon was released in April 2026, and is the first taste of her upcoming fourth album. Produced by long-time collaborator Josh Barber (Queenie; Gretta Ray), Chameleon captures Fields’ distinctive approach to intelligent, left-of-centre pop. The track was premiered by Frankie Magazine and is already garnering support on Triple R and PBS FM, continuing her history of airplay across ABC Radio, Double J, and community radio nationwide.

Alongside her solo work, Georgia regularly collaborates with Andromeda String Quartet to deliver a bold collision of worlds: luminous art-pop meets ethereal chamber strings. Together they perform strings-and-vocal arrangements of Georgia’s original songs (with a few surprise covers), blending the precision of modern classical with the energy of art-pop. Georgia uses live-looping to expand the quartet into a lush, immersive soundscape.
